CONCLUSIONS from retrospective analysis the patients aged over 65 years benefit as much from targeted therapies as younger patients and do not experience more frequent or severe toxicity. The impact of low-grade toxicities than in their younger counterparts no data are available for patients may be greater in elderly patients over 85 years prospective studies should be undertaken in the elderly Bellmunt, Critical Rev in Oncol/Hematol 2009
