1 Business - Lesson 1 Parlare di lavoro La capacità di comunicare in lingua inglese è indispensabile nell attuale mondo del lavoro. L inglese è infatti la lingua del business internazionale e la sua padronanza rappresenta oggi uno strumento prezioso e indispensabile in qualsiasi professione. Per questo motivo cominceremo a focalizzare l attenzione sull uso pratico della lingua in situazioni lavorative frequenti, come il colloquio di lavoro, i mestieri e le professioni. Analizzeremo poi il linguaggio delle presentazioni e vedremo quali sono le domande utili per sostenere una conversazione sui temi del lavoro. Cominciamo dal Curriculum Vitae. C O M E S I S C R I V E U N C U R R I C U L U M V I TA E Quando un datore di lavoro richiede una candidatura, è necessario spedire in formato cartaceo il proprio Curriculum Vitae accompagnato da una lettera di presentazione. Il curriculum fornisce le informazioni effettive su di te e la lettera di presentazione spiega il motivo del tuo interesse a quel particolare impiego, indicando perché potresti essere la persona adatta a ricoprire il ruolo richiesto. Scrivere un Curriculum Vitae e una lettera di presentazione è abbastanza simile alla compilazione di un modulo di richiesta. Il tuo curriculum deve includere i dati personali, il livello d istruzione, le varie qualifiche e le esperienze professionali. Il layout, ovvero l aspetto grafico, di un curriculum non segue regole particolari. Osserva per esempio il curriculum che Anne ha preparato per il colloquio con la Pilgrim Publishing. Puoi prenderlo come modello e adattarlo alle tue esigenze.
