Fit all joints on both LS valve and pump. Look at below photos. CF LS P EF IRON PLUG PLASTIC JOINT IRON PLUG PLUG BEFORE AFTER
Lift the boom up. Front wheels must be aligned. Take off cab cover and engine cover as per below photos. Place a container under the diesel engine and pump to collect hydraulic oil.
Detach the suction hose and close it with a 1 plug. Remove the flange from the pump. Be aware that all screws will be used later to fit the new flange on the new pump. The only difference is that the screw of photos nr.2 (see below) will be fitted on the other side of the flange (see below photo nr.3). 1
2 3 BEFORE AFTER Detach the feed hoses from the pump (use tools of 32, 27 and 19). Close all hoses with 3/4, 1/2 and 1/4 plugs.
Now you can detach the pump from the diesel engine. MONTAGGIO POMPA E VALVOLA LS Fit the metallic support as per below photo, using both screws of 8 and 8x24 lock washer.
Fit the LS valve as per below photo. Fit the new pump on diesel engine using the screws and the lock washers of the kit. Remember to fit the O- ring on the pump. IMPORTANT: if there is air con, make sure that the hydraulic pump feed hose will not touch the air con hoses.
Fit the new flange on the new pump. Connect the suction hose to the flange. Make sure that the hose is not touching the engine or the chassis. Place the covers back to their position. Make sure that the pump feed hose is not touching the covers.
Connect all the hoses to LS valve as per below photo. ORBITROL LS VALVE PUMP DISTRIBUTOR Now test the system and make sure that there are no leaks.
