Sistemare il veicolo con un cavalletto centrale e in luogo adatto al montaggio del presente Kit di sterzo. 2. Proteggere il serbatoio con un panno morbido. 3. Svitare la vite centrale del serbatoio VEDI FIG.1 LA VITE E LE RANELLE IN FIGURA NON VERRANNO PIU UTILIZZATE 4. Sostituire il dado del canotto di sterzo con quello in dotazione nel kit fissandolo con frenafiletti medio (non rimuovere la ranella originale). 5. Inserire la staffa B nella posizione di fissaggio centrale del serbatoio interponendo la ranella R. VEDI FIG.2 FRECCIA BIANCA E SCHEMA ATTENZIONE: la staffa va inserita fino a farla appoggiare completamente sul telaio della moto come da schema. Inserire la piastra C nel foro del dado del cannotto di sterzo interponendo la rondella in nylon nero e facendo combaciare l estremità della piastra con la parte superiore della staffa B VEDI FIG.2. 6. Posizionare l attacco di sterzo sopra il gruppo piastra come da Schema, interponendo i relativi distanziali e O- Ring. ATTENZIONE: la parte sporgente del cuscinetto dell attacco ammortizzatore va rivolta verso il basso. 7. Inserire la vite M6X110 UNI 5931 e fissarla vedi schema e VEDI FIG.3 8. Applicare i gommini adesivi di protezione sulle due estremità inferiori della staffa B (uno per ciascuna estremità) come rappresentato nello schema. 9. Verificare che la staffa B appoggi con i gommini di protezione, sul telaio della moto. Nel caso non appoggiasse, lasciando una luce maggiore di 0,5 mm (misurare con spessimetro), aggiungere un altro gommino adesivo di protezione, al di sotto di quello precedentemente applicato, su ciascuna delle due estremità della staffa. 10. Inserire l ammortizzatore di sterzo Bitubo nell attacco ammortizzatore alla quota indicata nello Schema 11. Inserire l attacco a collare sotto la piastra come si vede in figura 4-5 12. Fissare l occhio dell ammortizzatore con la vite M8X75 interponendo l OR la ranella ed il distanziale h=52mm come da Schema. ATTENZIONE: la parte sporgente del cuscinetto dell occhio dell ammortizzatore va rivolta verso il basso. 13. Effettuare alcune sterzate complete a destra e a sinistra, assicurandosi che vengano raggiunti i fine corsa sul telaio della moto senza sollecitare l ammortizzatore di sterzo. In caso contrario variare leggermente la posizione dell ammortizzatore rispetto all attacco spostandolo assialmente.

Position the vehicle on a central stand in a place suitable for fitting this steering kit. 2. Protect the tank with a soft cloth. 3. Unscrew the tank s screw. SEE PICTURE 1 THE SCREW AND THE WASHER WON T BE USED ANYMORE. 4. Replace the original nut of the steering tube with the nut supplied inside the kit tightening it with thread locker medium (don t remove the original washer) 5. Insert the support B into the central fixing position of the tank, putting the washer in-between. SEE PICTURE 2 WHITE FILE AND SCHEME ATTENTION: The support must be inserted so that it is fully against the motorcycle frame as shown in the Diagram. Insert the plate C into the hole of the nut in the steering tube with the black nylon washer inbetween and matching the end of the plate with the top part of the support SEE PICTURE 2 6. Position the steering attachment on the unit as the diagram with the spacers and O-ring in-between. ATTENTION: The protruding part of the bearing in the damping attachment must be turned downwards. 7. Insert the screw M6X110 UNI 5931 and secure the damping attachment according to the diagram SEE PICTURE 3 8. Fit the protection rubbers on the two lower ends of the support B (one rubber on each end) as for the scheme. 9. Check that the support B rests with the rubbers on the frame of the bike. If the support does not touch the frame, thus creating a bigger space than 0,5 mm (to be measured with thickness gauge), add another protection rubber under the previously fitted rubber, on each end of the support. 10. Insert the Bitubo steering damper into the damping attachment at the dimension shown in the diagram. 11. Insert the fork clamp under the lower fork plate as the picture 4-5 12. Fix the eye of the damper onto the steering bracket with the ERGAL screw M8X30 and with the spacer inbetween as per the diagram. ATTENTION: The protruding part of the bearing in the damper eye must be turned downwards. 13. After installation make a few complete steerings to the right and to the left in order to check the correct functioning of the kit between the two stroke-ends. Make sure that the two stroke-ends of the frame are reached without forcing too much the steering damper. If the stroke ends are not reached, change the position of the steering damper moving it along the axis towards the proper position.

AVVERTENZE - Ingrassare le viti con un grasso speciale al rame anti-grippaggio (per esempio Molykote). - È indispensabile fare installare il KIT da un professionista. - Leggere attentamente le istruzioni di montaggio prima dell installazione. - L ammortizzatore è garantito per la durata di 2 anni (dalla data del documento fiscale) per un normale utilizzo (esclusa la competizione) - Dopo aver applicato l ammortizzatore, consigliamo di utilizzarlo per i primi chilometri alla frenatura minima (SOFT), in seguito irrigidendolo (HARD) un click per volta. - Tutte le modifiche del KIT realizzate dall installatore senza nostri accordi annullano la garanzia.
