FSSC 22000 : (Food Safety System Certification ) Cosa è la FSSC 22000? E un sistema di certificazione per i produttori di alimenti, di proprietà della Foundation of Food Safety Certification Il progetto è stato sostenuto dalla Confederazione delle industrie alimentari e delle bevande dell'unione europea (CIAA). Il contenuto dello schema FSSC 22000 è stato approvato dal GFSI, lo scorso maggio. Così ora questo standard può essere considerato un omologo degli standard BRC e IFS. FSSC 22000 Quali organizzazioni si possono certificare? Questo schema è stato progettato per la certificazione del sistema di gestione igienico delle aziende produttrici d alimenti come dettagliato di seguito: - Prodotti trasformati freschi d origine animale: esclusa la macellazione (i.e. carne rossa, pollame, uova, latte, prodotto ittici); - Prodotti trasformati freschi di origine vegetale (i.e. succhi di frutta e verdura, conserve di frutta e verdura a temperatura controllata ) - Prodotti alimentari a lunga conservazione stabili a temperatura ambiente (i.e. prodotti in scatola, biscotti, snacks, olio, bevande, pasta, farina, zucchero sale) - Produzione di prodotti chimici e biologici per l'industria (i.e. vitamine, additivi, biocolture) ad esclusione dei coadiuvanti tecnologici Bureau Veritas 11
