2 What you need: * tinfoil from a yogurt pot top or soft cheese wrapping * vinyl glue * acrylic colours * coloured cardboard * tops of jam pots or similar Cosa ti serve: * carta metallizzata pesante dei coperchi dello yogurt e dei formaggini Filadelfia * Colla vinilica * Colori acrilici * Cartoncino colorato * Tappi dei barattoli della marmellata o altro Bottom of the pencil holder: make it from the tinfoil used for wrapping soft cheeses. Place the tinfoil on a big telephone book and smooth it with a teaspoon With this special tinfoil make a disc of 2 cm diam., wider than the base of the pencil holder, then cut it as shown in the photo on the left. This is easier if you use a pot of hand cream, like the one in the photo. Make a big cylinder with a rectangle of cardboard wound round a pot of Vinyl glue, or the quick-dry glue like that of the photo below. Fondo del porta matite: lo ricavi dalla carta metallizzata del formaggino Filadelfia, levigata con un cucchiaino sopra un librone tipo la rubrica del telefono. Con questa carta metallizzata crei un disco di 2 cm. di diametro più ampio di quello del porta matite e lo frastagli come indica la foto a sinistra. Per aiutarti in questa operazione utilizza anche i barattoli della crema per mani come quello della foto. Crea un grosso cilindro con un rettangolo di cartoncino avvolto intorno al barattolo della colla vinilica o quello della colla rapida della foto. 2

Incolla il dischetto frangiato sul porta matite con della colla adesiva rapida e, una volta asciugato, apri i petali meglio che puoi. 3

4 Leaves with the quilling technique Strips of coloured photocopy paper, 4 mm wide, wound around themselves with the help of a hair pin. Foglie con la tecnica della filigrana di carta o Quilling Nastrini o striscioline di carta colorata da fotocopie di mm. 4 avvolgili su se stessi con l aiuto di un beccuccio per capelli o una normale molletta. Prima d incollare l estremità del dischetto ottenuto, lascialo aprirsi quel tanto di diametro che ti serve per la foglia. Blocca l estremità e modellalo schiacciando il disco lateralmente tra le dita sino ad ottenere la forma desiderata. Incollalo subito sul porta matite. 4
