The love for his own territory, the pride for his roots and for the Venetian tradition have encouraged Pietro Lovato to follow a passion that, with the years, has been refined and that now he is proud to share with you: the art of winemaking. In fact Pietro Lovato is an entrepreneur indeed, but he never forgets his youth, spent in the country, where he always helped his father in the grape farming and in his own production of wine. Following many years of experience, Pietro has managed to improve this art, up to the production of this wine, whose very fragrance reminds of a territory, the Alto Vicentino, that distinguishes it self for its traditions and values.
The Pietro Lovato wine is made by Cabernet and Merlot grapes, grown on the sunny hills of San Benedetto di Quargnenta, more than 350 meters above sea level, whose peculiar microclimate gives the wine some exclusive flavours. The grapes are harvested during the first week of October and, after a meticulous selection, are left to wither in plateaux, in a ventilated and dry environment, for almost two months in the family s estate of Nogarole, Via Lovati. The must, vinificated after a maceration of 15 days, is afterwards refined in oak barrels for almost 3 months. Finally, bottled in this magnum bottle, the red Cabernet Merlot becomes an opportunity for aggregation and sharing.
