E Twinning project Different paths but common democratic values? 10.10.2015 Democracy in Europe these days is on a big trial. Escalation of the refugee crisis called into question human postulates of many European countries and a number of the values on which the EU is based. Democracy as the most important backbone of all EU member States will have to show and prove its strength. Where does Europe stand today as far as democracy is concerned?the aim of the project Different paths but common democratic values? is to investigate the degree of democracy in partner countries with regard to contemporary in Europe, immigration crisis, human rights, status of women, environmental awareness or the right to education. European Partner schools (from France, Croatia, Italy, Greece and Romania) will work together and exchange on different social topics each month to find answers on the stated question.
