Learn English Through Stories sarà un viaggio nel mondo della narrativa in lingua inglese attraverso l analisi di racconti brevi e favole moderne di Oscar Wilde, Isaac Asimov, James Thurber, Fredric Brown e molti altri. Ognuna delle dieci unità esamina la relazione tra i personaggi ed i loro mondi, sia reali che immaginari. Tra i personaggi potremo incontrare Cappuccetto Rosso ed il Lupo, un ragazzino ed una stella, un uomo ed un computer, un paio di vampiri etc. I racconti permetteranno di scoprire la lingua inglese nel contesto letterario, approfondire le caratteristiche dei racconti e riutilizzare la lingua in laboratori creativi, attraverso la scrittura di lettere, articoli di giornale, storie, etc. Le attività del corso relative ad ogni unità miglioreranno le quattro abilità linguistiche listening, reading, writing and speaking. Il corso prevederà inoltre l analisi e la traduzione di canzoni. 2
